WPL Teen Reviewers (14-18 years)

Earn volunteer hours for writing reviews! Read, watch, play, or listen to any item from the library that would appeal to a teen aged 14-18. The item can be a book, audiobook, graphic novel, magazine, DVD, video game, or CD. Write a review and fill out the form below to submit it.

Your review must:

• Be between 100-200 words in length.
• Avoid any “spoilers”.
• Use inclusive and respectful language.
• Not be AI generated content.

Approved reviews will be posted to the WPLTeenReviewers account on BiblioCommons and may be featured on the Library’s social media accounts or other promotions.

Once approved, a staff member will contact you with more information on how to collect your volunteer hours. Each review will earn 1 volunteer hour, with a maximum of 10 volunteer hours per school year. It may take several weeks to receive a response after a review is submitted. The time it takes to approve reviews varies based on staff availability, so it is not advised to submit reviews close to the community service hours deadline.

What should a review include?

A good review should include:

• A brief description of what the item is about or features,
• What you liked or disliked and why, and
• Your overall rating.
